Victoria Vacaro is an innovation and strategy focused executive with over a decade of experience in healthcare and non-profits. Most recently, Victoria Vacaro has served as Vice President of Innovation at Centering Healthcare Institute, overseeing the organization’s innovation and product strategy for 500+ health systems and FQHCs in 46 states, improving health outcomes for ~60,000+ patients per year. Prior to this, they led large-scale innovation initiatives at Kaiser Permanente Health Plan with over 6,000 employees. At Massachusetts General Hospital’s Healthcare Transformation Lab, they were a member of the Executive Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and developed innovative strategies to address clinical disparities, including digital health tools to support patients navigating complex health journeys. Victoria has forged strategic partnerships with startups, venture firms and accelerators like MassChallenge HealthTech and secured significant funding to advance health equity and innovation. They have had multiple close family members navigate neurological challenges with the healing power of the outdoors and are excited to join the Outdoor Mindset community.
