What: Join us for a friendly hike!
We will meet at the parking/picnic area located at the Lookout Mountain Preserve & Nature Center.
From there, we will hike/walk a loop trail called Colorow Mountain Forest and Meadow Loop Trail, which is 1.3 miles and rated as "EASY" in All Trails and other guide materials.
After our hike/walk, we can visit inside the Lookout Mountain Preserve & Nature Center which opens at 10AM.
Option to be social after the hike at Louis' Cafe, 1030 Johnson Road, #150, Golden, CO 80401
We will determine the day before if the event needs to be canceled or postponed due to weather. If we have to cancel, please check your email and/or text!

What to Bring: Bring yourself "day-hike" prepped with plenty of water, lightweight pack, snacks, wear hiking/walking clothes including hiking boots or shoes, comfortable socks, shorts/pants, hiking poles if you use them, a lightweight jacket in case it rains, and money/cash for the after-social option at Louis’ Cafe in Golden.
